Standards of Conduct
We are looking forward to a rewarding time of fellowship during these few days. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere conducive to growth in Christ and spiritual maturity. We recognize that not all are at the same place in their spiritual journey or convictions, so we strove to foster an atmosphere where God is honored and others are not offended. For this reason, we have developed the following requirements and guidelines:
Requirements:
- An interest in spiritual growth and development.
- At least 14 years of age
- Attendance to all classes, chapels, and activities
- Electronic devices should not be used for personal music listening while at camp.
- Phones may be used if needed before 8:45 AM and after 8:00 PM and should not interfere with scheduled activities and quiet time. They should not be used at night after quiet time.
- You must be willing to adhere to these goals and the guidelines set forth below.
Dress Code:
- To further facilitate the purpose of camp, we ask that you avoid distractive hairstyles, immodest clothing, or jewelry.
- We ask that the fellows wear full-length pants (not sweats) and sleeved shirts at all times in public.
- We ask that the girls wear skirts which cover the knees at all times, and dresses or blouses which have sleeves and are not form fitting. Slacks may be worn under dresses for recreation only.
Bring with you:
- A Prayerful Spirit
- Bedding for sleeping on bunk beds.
- Soap, towels, and personal items
- Bible, notebook, and pen.
- Softball Gloves
- Snacks as desired (sometimes there is a canteen that is open, but not always)
- Modest swimming apparel for segregated swimming as the weather allows.
Campers are expected to help clean up after the meals as assigned.
